In the 2024–25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he was the leading run-scorer for India with 391 runs at an average of 43.44. Notably, he scored 161 runs in the first innings of the first Test, which Jasprit Bumrah described as Jaiswal’s best Test innings ever.
As of September 2025, Jaiswal has played 24 Test matches, scoring 2,209 runs at an average of 50.20, including 6 centuries and 12 half-centuries.

Jaiswal made his ODI international debut in February 2025 against England, scoring 15 runs off 22 balls. Although his ODI career is still in its early stages, his potential is evident, and he is expected to become a key player in India’s middle order in the coming years.
